Been working on the Glenlivet directors cut today. There's a sequence which requires particles to give a kind of magical, mystical effect. It's subtle, but the effect works. Thing is, it's not as simple as applying particles on a video. There are all sorts of particles and I believe I have hundreds of them. Also, you need to add them as though they're moving in 3d space. Most importantly, you need to know the behaviour of particles, for example, particles are most evident against light and almost invisible in shadow.

The Glenlivet, directed by Asua Han will be released in April 2019.
