Back from KL Malaysia

It was good to revisit Malaysia and see the old team back. Met with dop Sam and shot around KL with his new Blackmagic URSA Pro Mini 4k. We had the freedom to shoot whatever we wanted with minimal setup and simply relying on natural light. Sometimes being a commercial director, you miss the good old days of run-n-gun shooting. There are certain shots which are hard to achieve with agency and clients around and the only way to execute them is to do it when they're not looking. I love certain imperfections when it comes to a shoot. It feels raw and organic.

I'm still completing the directors cut for Braun Buffel and also working on a passion project. Hoping both will be complete for the year ends. Meeting a stuntman next week. Exciting times ahead.
